SHELTERBOXES DEPLOYED IN SRI LANKA

"One of the most wonderful things about Rotary is that it allows
you to be part of something so much larger than yourself."

CLUB INVESTS A NEW PAUL HARRIS FELLOW

During the last meeting of the Rotary year (June 29th) outgoing President Terry Servant awarded Past President Rotarian Martin Vaux with Rotary's highest honour a Paul Harris Fellowship in recognition of the work he has done not only in Rotary but in Round Table and as a member  and sometime Chairman of the Caterham Carnival Committee to serve the community of Caterham.  For once in his life Martin was completely speechless.  This is only the fifth Paul Harris Fellowship that Caterham Harestone have awarded in the 22 years since the club started.  The award was made at the first meeting in the club's new venue Surrey National Golf Club.

ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN

President Terry, Secretary Nick, Kay and Graham odel the new uniform in front of the stall, Kay would like to point out she is wearing Graham's fleece.

In alternating cold and hot weekends the club got its ration of fetes  out of the way for another year.  The first of the year was the Warlingham Fair where the club displayed its new issue of polo shirts etc.  President Terry's new artwork for the Fruit Tombola can be seen above the stall along with new advertising boards and leaflets.  The second fete of the year was the Dene Fete on the last Sunday in June.

WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO CHANGE THE WORLD?
