Rotary is not just about service to others, we believe that a service
organisation can only be effective if there is a good deal of fellowship among the
members.
To this end we organise a number of social activities throughout the year
including
Christmas Party
a dinner/dance
a Presidential changeover party
meals at restaurants
visits to concerts
outings to the theatre
safari suppers
We
also attend Rotary conferences which allow us to meet with lots of other Rotarians and
their partners.
This year we plan an Autumn Golf Day, Christmas Party on the Blue Bell
Railway and a Riverboat Shuffle in the summer of 2010 as the main events.
